If you are reasonable you can expect and get excellent care. Our society now has a lot of people whose marriages have broken down and where family members go their own way with little contact and as a result no support for one another. Mental health problems as peoples bodies age create major problems now in this broken model of family and society. General Practice as it exists now cannot solve that problem. We must look for a new structure for these people. It will be a psychologically driven model rather than the medical/dispensing General Practice that we have AND it will need to be separated from it structurally but able to refer a person from one to the other.

Having to call up first thing every day to try and get an appointment is totally unacceptable. There isn't even queue waiting.

The reception staff were professional, friendly and helpful. Dr Woodward was efficient and patient, listening well and explaining medical matters in a clear and straightforward manner. The surgery appears well managed overall and this helps when visiting as if this were not the case, it could be a much more stressful experience.

I couldn't make an appointment and on the actual day we had to change it to a home visit , and a doctor was with me within the hour...amazing service of which I got medication whn I desperately needed it extremely quickly thankyou so much.
